Week 1 Lesson - Autumn 2019
Dear students,
Welcome to Chris Elvin's autumn writing class.
Grading Criteria:
Attendance 30
Please come to every class and don't be late.
Homework Assignments 50
You will be required to write ten assignments during the semester. The deadline for each assignment will be by the following class (because you will be required to read your homework in class). You should only submit each homework once. You will not be allowed to edit your work once you have submitted. In order to achieve a good score, you should be precise, accurate, and appropriate, and express an intelligent opinion.
Mid-term test 10
This will be a sixty minute paper essay. You are required to write a summary and opinion about a graded reader in APA format on paper. Please remember the formatting rules of APA.
Final test 10
This test will be similar to the one set during mid-term.
Cheating
Don't cheat.
If you cheat once, your grade will likely be no more than "C".
If you cheat twice, you will certainly fail.
